بنسبة 8 في المئة الى 15 في المئة أكثر من ملفات ZIP. برنامج WinRAR أداة ضغط قوية مع العديد من
المهام الإضافية المتكاملة للمساعدة على تنظيم المحفوظات المضغوطة. يمكن له حفظ البيانات والحد من حجم
ملحقات البريد الالكتروني ، فك الضغط عن ملفات RAR ، ZIP وغيرها من الملفات التي يتم تحميلها من شبكة
الإنترنت وإنشاء محفوظات جديدة مضغوطة في شكل ملفات RAR اوZIP

Version 4.00 beta 3:

1. Now switch -ep3 converts not only disk letters, but also UNC paths

2. Bugs fixed:

a) previous beta could fail to unpack self-extracting and multivolume CAB archives
b) "Create a new folder" command always created new folders in the root archive folder
c) "Remove redundant folders from extraction path" option did not work
d) previous beta crashed when displaying archive comments with ANSI escape sequences
e) switches -cl and -cu did not work
