As you may know by now, we have been working on a major restructure of the SolusVM client area. This restructure will allow us to add new features quickly and give your clients a better user experience.
Some of the features include:

• New faster template engine (non compiling)
• Fully unencrypted template files
• Easier navigation
• Better language support
• Encrypted url’s
• New clean default template (easy to modify!)
• Redirect to virtual server control on single vps account

Warning! If you currently use a custom client area template, the upgrade will revert you to the new clean blue template. Any custom changes will need to be transferred to the new templating system. Old Smarty templates will NOT work.

A few other features also included in v1.8 are:

• Optional KVM disk/network drivers
• Language support for reseller area
• Template support for reseller area
• Scientific linux Xen PV template support
• Reliable network throttling
• Options to disable admincp quickjump menus (Aimed to reduce heavy SQL queries on large systems)
• 30+ Bugfixes

Final testing has now begun on version 1.8 and should be released within the next 7 days.
