افتراضي Windows Phone BBM Windows Phone

BBM is already available for BlackBerry (natch), iOS and Android. The company earlier announced that its messaging app would also be made available for Windows Phone users. Well, we have some very good news for those sporting a phone powered by Microsoft's mobile OS. A Beta version of BBM is now available in the Windows Phone Store.

As soon as Facebook offered $19 billion for WhatsApp, a lightbulb went off in John Chen's head. The BlackBerry CEO realized that his company has a messaging app of its own, so why not turn it into money. Considering that Facebook paid $42 for each WhatsApp subscriber, Chen whipped out his trusty calculator, and realized that if more people sign up with BBM, the higher the app's value. If BlackBerry is ever hurting for cash, it could then spin off or sell BBM.

As a huge number of iOS and Android users ended up taking the bait, and signing up for BBM, it turned out to be a good idea. And now that Windows Phone users can sign up as well, you can just see the value of the the messaging app growing daily. If you're a Windows Phone user, are you planning on downloading the BBM app on your phone? Let us know by dropping a comment in the box below.
