webcam 7 PRO is webcam and network camera monitoring, recording and streaming software for private and pro use.

webcam 7 PRO is based on webcamXP PRO v5.
The user interface is the same, but has enhancements such as:

- Flash Video (FLV) streaming
- MPEG-4 / RTSP IP Cameras
- Audio support in MJPEG

In FLV streaming, webcam 7 is supports streaming both audio and video.
The RTSP DirectShow filter is also able to retrieve both audio and video from some IP cameras.

It offers unique features and unequaled ease of use to let you manage multiple video sources on the same computer.
It is the ideal tool to secure your goods and keep an eye on them remotely from your phone or over internet.

It lets you to stream via HTTP, Windows Media or to upload via FTP/FTPS or HTTP/HTTPS Post.

IP Camera DirectShow Filter (JPEG/MJPEG):

A DirectShow source filter allowing connection of IP cameras in webcamXP and other applications such as Skype, Windows Media encoder, Msn messenger, Yahoo! Live, etc.

This filter works for most IP cameras and doesn't require any external decoder.
If you own an IP camera this will expand its potential because it can now be used in other applications.

IP Camera DirectShow Filter (MPEG4/H264):

This is our new IP Camera DirectShow filter, combined with the previous filter we are able to support over 90% of the existing network cameras.

The main advantages of RTSP mode are that it's possible to retrieve live video (MPEG-4 or H264) and live audio (PCM, G711 or G726) from a network camera.
You can reach higher frame rates without consuming as much bandwidth as JPEG or MJPEG modes.

The filter will just take care of demuxing and parsing the RTSP stream but is uses external decoders for decoding (ffdshow or CoreAVC for video, ffdshow and Sharp G.726 for audio).

Ensure these are installed for the filter to work properly.

CoreAVC provides excellent results in decoding H264 video from Axis cameras.

The focus was mainly on Panasonic and Axis cameras which are supported with audio (For axis all video streams are supported and all audio streams excepted AAC which we are still working on).

Wowwee's Rovio is also fully supported with audio and the filter has been successfully tested on other models such as AVTech, Trendnet and TP-Link network cameras.
